CLWYD SPECIAL RIDING CENTRE
Clwyd Special Riding Centre provides people with additional needs the opportunity to ride, carriage drive or equestrian vault to benefit their health and wellbeing. The Centre has 24 horses and ponies and due to exciting new developments requires the following:
DEPUTY EQUINE MANAGER
£16,500 per annum 40 hours per week
to include some evening and weekend work.
The Deputy Equine Manager will deputise for, assist and support the Equine Manager on all aspects of equine related matters at CSRC. The successful applicant will have at least 3 years’ proven experience in this area.
2 x GROOM
£13,936 per annum 40 hours per week
to include some evening and weekend work.
You will be required to hold a Level 3 equine qualification or have the equivalent experience. You must be confident in producing horses to a high standard and demonstrate an understanding of and be committed to the work of CSRC.
With the above posts there is a requirement to undertake evening stable checks for 2/3 nights per week. Accommodation is available for these nights or full week occupation if required.
Volunteers
There are so many ways to get involved here at CSRC with volunteers playing a vital role in both equine and non-equine related activities.
We also require volunteers to help with our exciting new ‘Project CELT – Centre for Equine Learning and Therapy’ which is a Big Lottery Fund project. If you are interested in volunteering then please contact us, we would be so pleased to hear from you.
