To our friends and supporters, including those who had planned to visit us at Clwyd Special Riding Centre.
Some of our horses at the riding centre have caught a respiratory infection, and this will thus have several repercussions:
First, we are resting the horses and ensuring that with rest and treatment their recovery is as quick as possible.
Second, we need you to avoid all contact with any horses, not because of any risk to human health, but because any contact just might lead to non-affected horses at CSRC and elsewhere, becoming affected.
Third, we still welcome those who wish to participate in CELT activities that do not involve contact with horses. These CELT exercises will still be undertaken to the great benefit of so many visitors. We look forward to seeing you.
Obviously we will not be able to have visiting horses, nor sadly will our horses be ridden by any visitors.
We are fortunate that our veterinary surgeons are attending regularly in order to treat affected horses and thus return us to all regular working activities as soon as possible for you.
We will keep you informed if any changes occur.
